Chrysler will recall over 211,000 US vehicles due to software issues.

Chrysler is recalling over 211,000 vehicles in the United States owing to a software issue that could disable the electronic stability control system, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced on Saturday.

According to the regulator, the issue may cause the Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) control module to disable the electronic stability control system.
"Driving with a disabled electronic stability control system can increase the risk of a crash," it stated.

The NHTSA announced a recall for 2022 Dodge Durango and Ram 2500 and 3500 vehicles manufactured by Stellantis-owned Chrysler .The NHTSA stated that dealers will provide free updates to the control module software.
